Privacy policy
This policy covers https://www.binarylabz.com and the enquiries made through it. It is written to describe what actually happens rather than to reserve the widest possible rights.
1 · What we collect
When you submit the discovery-sprint brief we collect the fields you fill in: your name, your work email, the category of system you are building, and your description of what is blocking you. Nothing else on the form is required.
The site stores a randomly generated identifier in your browser's local storage. It is not linked to your name or email unless you submit the form, and it exists to avoid duplicate submissions and to distinguish repeat visits from new ones.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp — as a normal part of serving the site.
2 · Why we collect it
Brief submissions are used to reply to you and to scope the engagement you asked about. That is the only purpose.
Server logs are used for security and to diagnose faults.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not use it to train models.
3 · Where it is stored
Enquiry data is held in Supabase (PostgreSQL). The site is served by Vercel. Both are processors acting on our instructions.
The local-storage identifier stays in your browser and is removed when you clear site data.
4 · How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from last contact, so that we can pick up a conversation that resumes after a gap. After that they are deleted.
Server logs are retained for 30 days.
5 · Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@binarylabz.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
